Who We Serve

At SoléAna Stables we firmly believe that a disability does not have to limit a person from interacting with horses and provides an excellent outdoor recreational opportunity for our Riders.

Each week, our Riders between the ages of 4 and 47 saddle up as a part of SoléAna Stables Therapeutic Riding program. Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to:

  • Attention Deficit Disorder

  • Apraxia

  • Asperger’s/Autism

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Cognitive Delays

  • Congenital Disorders

  • Depression/Anxiety

  • Developmental Delays

  • Head trauma/Brain Injury

  • Paralysis

  • Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • PTSD

  • Stroke

  • Spina Bifida

  • Rett syndrome

  • Down syndrome

  • Visual Impairment

  • Hearing Impairment

Therapeutic horseback riding has been amazing for Kaylie in so many ways, but the best part is that for one hour it allows us to forget a little about her struggles with Rett syndrome, and enjoy watching her smile while she gets a chance to just be a little girl that loves riding horses.

Kassie Morell, Mom

First and foremost, I believe the riding lessons at SoléAna Stables have given Eric a real sense of belonging and confidence that he did not have before joining your wonderful program.

The best part of the lesson is simply the connection he feels with his horse (his favorite is Moon) and his fellow Riders. Eric used to be extremely edgy and very anxious around any animal he encountered but after spending time in your
program he is much more comfortable around all animals.

The program has been wonderful not only for Eric but also for my family and I

Tom Ferazzi, Dad

One of the biggest goals Ariana is achieving through riding is that she is gaining confidence. She has always struggled with trying new things and feared the unknown
which caused her to doubt her abilities and she is finding out that trying new things helps her grow in that aspect. It has meant so much to us as a family to see her overcome so much.

Competing at Top Hands (part of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo) is a HUGE example of her growing.

Melissa Barrios, Mom

SoléAna Stables has brought so much joy to our family. It has taught Carson to be  independent, it has provided him with the confidence he needs to learn discipline, planning and teamwork. All while in an accepting and loving environment.
