"Horse therapy is the only therapy that Lauren has responded to but most importantly, enjoyed. Everyone involved with SoléAna Stable is so encouraging and genuinely care about the riders which is something special to parents of children with special needs. The volunteers take the time of their day to be there for Lauren and the other riders and we truly consider it a gift. When she is on the horse, her hands get a break from constant ringing, teeth grinding is lessened, and it works her core muscles. Lauren is non-verbal but you can see the joy in her eyes she has for being a part of SoléAna Stables."

“Because of a very rare chromosome disorder, Jake was born with special needs and we thought that he may never walk. But true to form he proved us wrong and has been on a horse since he was 2 years old. Thanks to therapeutic riding, he can walk and sometimes even run.”
“Mia has been riding for 3 years and it has been so amazing for her. Through this she has gained sustained physical strength, learned responsibility and increased her receptive vocabulary. Above all she has discovered so much joy in riding! Therapeutic riding has opened up a whole new world to Mia that we would never have achieved in any of her other traditional therapies.”
