Cornelius has nearly twenty years of professional experience in equine program development, large horse herd management, and equine training and instruction. He has directed several equine programs of 40+ horses and ridden over 500 different horses in his career. As a professional horseman and contractor, he has countless experience engaging with and working alongside military, law enforcement, and civilian clients.

Cornelius, Janice, and Roan began their horsemanship journey as a family in Tombstone, Arizona, where he served as the Director of Horsemanship for a Therapeutic Riding, boarding school. Later, they also led Kid’s Camp together and taught horsemanship at the US Air Force Academy (USAFA). Cornelius and Janice are both experienced Equine Assisted Learning Specialists and fully recognize a horse’s true value - both tangibly and intangibly. Janice has a heart for children and enjoys teaching them about horses. Roan is an accomplished rider in her own right. She was a High School (IEA) Western Regional Champion and a National Qualifier in horsemanship. Like her parents, she loves to helping others with horses. They have a family motto, “Horse First, People Always.”

Cornelius is a proud graduate of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. Janice is a fighting Texas A&M Aggie, where she earned her degree in Elementary Education. Roan plans to attend a Service Academy in the future to study International Relations. They currently reside near West Columbia, Texas with their faithful dog, a Black Mouth Cur, Moses.
