Gabby Powers

Hi! My name is Gaby Powers. I am originally from Erie, Pennsylvania but moved to Texas
five years ago. I started out in the PATH Intl. field six years ago at Storm Harbor in Slippery
Rock, Pennsylvania and received my PATH Intl certification five years ago at Reining
Strength when I moved to Texas. I became interested in therapeutic riding due to my
previous college major, Transitions, and my minor in Adapted Physical Activity. I am now
majoring in American Sign Language Interpreting. I love being an instructor because of the
difference I make in our riders and their families lives and for the challenge of adapting
skills for each rider. A fun fact about me is in college, at Slippery Rock, I was in the Mixed
Martial Arts club and was the 1st female president of the club!
