Carolyn Andrews

Carolyn Andrews is currently the Senior Development Manager at KIPP Texas Public
Schools where she works to help increase access to quality education to traditionally
underserved communities. Prior to her nonprofit work, Carolyn held an almost 20-year
career in Wealth Management with a concentration in portfolio and operational
management.  She began in the nonprofit sector focusing her efforts in workforce
development, addressing the root causes of food insecurity, and access to quality
healthcare.  This work ignited her drive to advocate for equitable access to quality
education and healthcare for our communities.  As a native Houstonian and first-
generation college graduate, Carolyn is passionate about helping the people in our city
thrive and reach their full potential.  Fundamentally, she prides herself in building strong
partnerships and being a connector of people and resources to create positive impact. 
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a Master of Arts in Nonprofit
Management from the University of Houston System.  She is a proud wife, mom of three
and enjoys traveling and discovering new restaurants in her time away from work.
