Amy Mynderse

Amy Mynderse is a native Texan and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.  She then went on to receive her MD at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center.  She did her residency in Internal Medicine, and served as Chief Resident at Ben Taub General Hospital.  She has been working as a private hospital based internist at Methodist Hospital since 2006.  Amy has been married to her husband, Thor, since 1998 and they have 2 beautiful daughters together.  Her desire to help people in an environment outside of the hospital has been a driving force behind her interest and support of SoléAna Stables.

SoléAna Stables is established as a non-profit corporation operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. SoléAna Stables is a Veteran Owned and Operated non-profit corporation in the State of Texas with 501(c)(3) Federal recognition.

SoléAna Stables is a proud member center of Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International  (PATH International).  


PATH International is the credentialing organization for accrediting centers and certifying instructors and equine specialists. SoléAna Stables abides by their strict safety guidelines while adding additional standards to further ensure quality of life for horses and riders alike.
